The stacking item's attribute +1 helmet from Professor Yakkington with a Smiting Prayers +1 rune is optimal. For some farms a ranged weapon is required for pulling. Optional: A wand or caster sword of enchanting. The Crystalline Long Sword is a popular choice. It's easy to come by, has decent base stats for a low level quest item, can be modded Thief with primarily Deadeye as the main reason. I am glad Anet finally added a class that fits my play-style. In all the games I play, I gravitate towards the stealth long range fighters ( Loki with Dex Syberis, Infiltrator in ME franchise, infiltrator PS2, and many more). Armor is worn by a character to partially protect them from damage. Every character starts with a weakest-level set. Armor is acquired from armorers or collectors in exchange for currency and materials or trophies respectively. Certain salvage items are also labeled as armor, but they can't be equipped or upgraded. I don't really recommend choosing to play a cleanse support or Firebrand in your position, only good if you get organised and join a guild group. Another good option is dps Scrapper which is very easily to play, just use shredder/blast gyros and spam flamethrower 1 when melee pushing with a group or use mortar kit for ranged. Map completion hinges on both movement speed and kill speed while in combat, so you may want to give Runes of Speed and the Stamina sigil a whirl, as well as dropping DA for Trickery 3-1-2 and going CS 2-2-1. Equip Assassin, Infiltrator and Agility signets. Nigh-infinite dodges and upgraded Swiftness (permanent budget superspeed) to move almost Warrior, my warrior has more than 10x the hours than any other character, and 20x more than my least played. Why my warrior is my first char and my favorite, modeled after my main warrior from guild wars 1. I haven’t changed my main ever, but I have been loving power vindicator for open world and story stuff lately. Pets can be used in conjunction with "I Will Avenge You!" for decent unstrippable IAS and health regeneration. Antidote Signet is unlinked, free condition removal. Mending Touch can be useful for removing conditions The Monk secondary profession opens up several useful Resurrection skills, for use in PvE. Balthazar's Spirit is a maintained enchantment that can be cast on yourself for good Also the Ranger has second highest armour rating as well as an armour boost against Elemental damage. Warrior – Anything classed as an ‘Attack Skill’ will benefit from Expertise. So a melee weapon can be used. Elementalist – Ranger has a pretty decent energy pool allowing for Conjure Weapon enchantments to be used. Here's how I decided the race on the class I will make. Humans: I consider BEST in Humans are Warrior, Thiefs, Mesmer and Elementalist. And the opposite class are Ranger(because you are Human, so most-likely the pet will just eat you), Revenant(revenant's legendary invoke for me is like a spirit possessing you or a tech device) and Necro(Humans have Gods as their believes, so summoning is just The original tagging build when Silverwastes were released. Still works great. Also can use the mortar to tag large groups of enemies far away. Mirage (Mesmer): Greatsword Farmer. Uses the insanely long range and low cooldown Greatsword beam of the Mesmer. Also usually works targetet using the Action cam. Shadow1975 14 years ago #2. Most people run R/x or x/R for the pet. Helps take heat off you when attacking, provides more damage, and offers a way to deal damage from behind a wall. Mesmer is also quite nice, as a simple spell like Conjure Phantasm will drain the low level monsters in Pre quite fast. Troll Ungent and Ether Feast should be all Brutus, Sheena and Su are good. Claude and Eve aren't. Cynn and Argo are good for Normal Mode. Headmaster Vhang, Kai Ying, Kisai and Herta are decent. Orion sucks. Aidan is decent except in Nightfall, Aurora and Daeman are decent, Zho is decent in Eye of the North. GDocide. • 7 yr. ago. Zyk22 13 years ago #1. So I was thinking of playing a physical DPS character, but it doesn't look like there is one that fits my criteria. 1. Physical DPS. 2. No pets (I hate controlling them in ANY game, haven't tried this however) 3. Actually good; doesn't suck. I would try ranger with no pet, but from what I can see, that doesn't meet An animal companion ( colloquial: pet) is an ally that can follow and fight alongside a ranger in combat zones . Pets are first found as wild animals that have to be tamed using the skill Charm Animal. The Zaishen Menagerie can offer to breed animal companions if specific requirements are filled. Thief would have been my choice for weakest class. No quickness builds, the alac build is alright but suffers in Mobile fights, most builds have low cleave. The only good thing about thief is for fighting quadim and opening samarog's door. 1. 2ArV.
